On May 30 and 31, 2026, the Winston-Salem Symphony performed composer Dan Locklair’s Since Dawn, A Tone Poem for Narrator, Chorus, and Orchestra., based on poetry by Maya Angelou, as part of their concerts at Reynolds Memorial Auditorium in Winston-Salem, NC.
